Note: Microsoft says that if your computer can run Windows 7, it'll be able to run Windows 8.
For certain features, Windows 8 has other requirements. To use touch capabilities, you'll need a tablet or monitor that supports multitouch, but some laptops will get extra trackpad gestures.
Issues:
Some applications are not compatible with Windows 8.
Some netbooks with resolution of 1024x600 pixels will have problems with apps snapping.
Have you installed Windows 8 on an old netbook, laptop and/or computer?
Tell us about it. We would be happy to hear from you.
