Malware on Android - Be Cautious in Installing Apps

Apr 28, 2013

There were some rumors that Android users are vulnerable to viruses and malwares. I have known this for a fact. However, I was not that hooked to the idea. But recently, Lookout, a mobile security firm confirmed this idea.

Lookout discovered a new family of malwares called "Bad News." These applications were already removed from the Google Play Store. However, if you have installed this on your android phone, please uninstall these.

Here are the icons of those apps containing Bad News.

  • Star Knife

  • Bottle With Tasks
  • I Believe
  • Stupid Birds
  • True or False
