6 Tips on How to Save Battery on Android Devices, Tips from PH

It is a fact that android devices are battery/electricity hungry. But there are some tweaks we can do to save every battery juice we have on our android device.

Anyways, here are some tips contributed by some knowledgeable commentators of this weblog.

1. Always close connections that are not being used: Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Data
For example, if you are in a Wi-Fi zone, then turn off your GPS, Bluetooth, and Data.

2. Use Battery Saver
There are a lot of apps in the Google Play Store that would cater to this. Head over there, search for it and install.

3. Screen brightness should be set to minimum.

4. Turn off keystroke sounds and vibration.

5. Remove your active widgets


6. Turn off GPS.

Tip for newly purchased android phones: Do not forget to do the battery activation where in after buying the phone you need to drain the battery then charge it for 6-8 hours to utilize the whole capacity of your battery.

  1. sir talaga po bang mabilis tLaga yung battery ng android ma lowbag, kasi po ung unig ko ay skk mobile. sabi po nila ang initial charging ay six hours pero,gNun pa rin. nG babawas rin namman ako ng apps,na nag rurun .. ganun pa rin . masaklap pa nyan wala kameng kuryente ..

Tip for newly purchased android phones: Do not forget to do the battery activation where in after buying the phone you need to drain the battery then charge it for 6-8 hours to utilize the whole capacity of your battery. --- is it true na bawal i-drain yung Li-ion battery kasi masisira? I read it somewhere and yun din sinabi sakin nung sales girl nung bumili ako, and that's the reason why I did not drain my fubo batt for it's initial charging. :(

  6. Bumili ako ng Flare 2x last wednesday Oct 9 kaya lang 3 minutes mo pa lang gamit for call mainit na agad sya. Sa pagplay din ng music ganon. This is my first time using a cherry mobile phone. Is this normal or should I have this replaced before the warranty ends?

  7. saan ba available ang flare battery?? nagpunta na ko sa 3 malls,out of stock daw sila....need ko na talagang magchange ng battery...help me please! :'(

  8. ... yung flare 2x ko binilhan ko ng bagong battery sa sm.cnter, sabi nung sales lady ang initial charging daw po ay 2hrs tpos nung nglow bat na po xa, ngcharge po ulit ako pero lampas na po ng 8hrs, di pa rin na fufull charge, charging pa rin xa ng 99%, kailangan ko po pa rin bng hintaying ma full charge khit abutin ng ilang oras pa?... need ko po ng help, pls reply po... thanks!

  9. ... ilang oras po ba sng charging pag bago ang battery?... ang initial charging po ng flare 2x ay 2hrs... yung susunod po di ko po alm kasi po almost 10hrs na kong ngchacharge, 99% pa rin?... klangan ko pa rin po bng mghintay na mafullcharge?... help nmn po, tnx
