How to Reduce Lags on Your Android Device, Tips from PH

May 4, 2013

There are some instances when android phones lag. These may be due to different reasons. But here are some tips that might help lessen the occurrences of lags.

Here are some things you can do:

What To Do When Your Android Phone Lags

1. Transfer installed apps to microSD
This can be done using an app called AppMgr III or App2SD. Move your apps to your microSD to free up some space on your android phone.

2. Do not install apps that you will not use.
Obviously, never let unused applications to be on your phone. If you do not use it uninstall it.

3. Disable apps that are not always being used
Go to "Settings", then "Apps", find the app you want to disable. (You have the choices to STOP, CLEAR DATA, CLEAR CACHE and DISABLE.)

4. Use Advanced Task Killer to close running apps.

5. Lessen your active widgets.
Widgets are the one that gives beauty to our Home Screens. However, I go for a clean Home Screen, no widgets. It lets me see my wallpaper.

  1. regarding #1. You don't need AppMgr III or App2SD if you're using ICS 4.0 and UP to transfer apps to your external memory since pwede mo nang gawin yun sa phone mo...Go to setting > Apps > then click the Apps na nakainstall sa phone memory mo then click SAVE TO SD. but not all apps pwedeng itransfer sa SD.

  2. and #4...again, if you're using ICS 4.0 pataas may Task killer na yun...sa phone hold the HOME button then mag-aapear lahat nang running apps, just slide left and right. sa tablet ganun din...click mo lang yung button na katabi nang HOME...

    1. I have not yet tried it. But I think it is highly possible that you can use a Bluetooth dongle for Fubo. :) Hope it helped.
